Rumi- when grief possesses me

When thunder possesses me
When grief possesses me,
My spirit shouts for glee;
When I am waste with gloom,
In my heart roses bloom.
When hushed and silent I
Like earth unmoving lie,
Thunder-loud to the skies
My lamentations rise.
